If you have a preference of payment method, please let us know.
Game Fees when there is Game Cancellation/Postponement
– If a referee is notified of cancelled/postponed games more than 24 hours prior to kickoff, there will be no financial recompense for the scheduled referee. We will make every effort possible to assign said referee to an additional game for that division.
– If a referee is notified of cancelled/postponed games within 24 hours of kick-off, you will receive two-thirds of the pay for the amount of games that are postponed/cancelled. This ensures you are fairly taken care of for booking your evening to referee, yet allows a portion to cover the rescheduled referee game fee.
E.g. On a Friday night, all games are cancelled/postponed within 24 hours of kick-off.
You, as the referee assigned to 2 games, will receive $53.33
(2 games x $40/game, 2/3 x $80 = $53.33).
Eg. If one Friday night game is cancelled/postponed within 24 hours of kickoff and the other one is played.
You, as the referee assigned to 2 games who refereed only 1 game, will receive $66.67
(full $40 for the game played, and two-thirds of cancelled/postponed game — 2/3 x $40 = $26.67).
Eg. On Thursday afternoon, all Friday night games are cancelled/postponed.
You, as the referee assigned to 2 games, will receive $0.
We will make every attempt to assign you to the rescheduled night or another evening for that division.
